Present situation of paddy field in Srilanka

The staple food of the srilanka is rice which was produce in the country even in excess and we were able to export it to other countries. During the period of Sinhalese kings this island was named as “Granary of the East” unfortunately the present situation is that we have to import it to satisfy the needs of the country. In our past we could satisfy our situation but present its difficult because after industrialization all thindg are change for the example in srilanka “vevai dagabai gamai pansali” concept also changed.

It is the result of the present generation who look forward to do white collar jobs in the city. Thereby the paddy fields were neglected to the extent that the country had to import rice. If there reduce the paddy field in the srilanka paddy field diversity  all change as a result of that unbalanced the biodiversity. And also lot of industries put their garbage and chemicals in to the  paddy field and its difficult to farmers and they decided without harvest that situation. Not only that situation lot of facters conder about the reduce paddy field in srilanka.

With the advancement of technology and increase of population, the multination companies started to fill abundant paddy fields and build housing projects and factories. Due to the unplanned filling of the low lands the water which gets collected during heavy rains had no way to flow, thus created floods. It is harmful to the environment due to the destruction of fauna and flora.

The latest mass scale filling going on in Dehiwala and Homagama   areas  is an example. in way it is necessary to build houses too for the increasing population, but the wanton filling of paddy lands has to be checked by the authorities, primarily building drainage system to allow the rain water flow to the sea and leaving enough space for the children to play. Not only Colombo area other areas also change these situation.

It hazards lot of areas and we kindly appeal to the authorities concerned o think twice before giving the approval for housing projects. Not only that lot of government project also did filled of paddy area for example earlier Homagama Makubura   area was a big paddy area and now there is Sountern highway entrance we can see. This is the real situation in srilanka how we change this government policy. 

There are several difference between being a student and working full time. Studying has more upside in the long term than working fulltime many difference, such as better quality life in the future, different benefits and new knowledge.
There are several similarities between being a student and working fulltime. Both of them have to work hard achieve their goals. Both of they are part of population of country. And also they have contribute to gross profit of country. Both of them very important to country because they have good ideas to develop country and also one students become working fulltime.Among both of them I would like to be a students because its depend on our future if we do hard work within our studies time we can easy to do our future things easily. Some student think they would like to be a student because they have less responsibility than the workers if they have mistaken it is not considered as a huge problem and parents will always look after and they will provide all our unfulfilled needs and wants. And also they mention student can spend their life with free and they can enjoy their life well. Finally in my opinion if we studying well our student time we can do our working full time easily in our future.         

Firstly studying is like an investment for the future. Also if we you are a student you might receive different benefits like discounts, special offers, like benefits. When you are a student your mind is always open to new ideas, new knowledge but working fulltime couldn’t reach new knowledge and they they have to work with same thing and sometime they will feel disappointed also. Student has less responsibility but working fulltime has a huge responsibility of their work. Workers earn money but student earn knowledge. As a university student some time we can think it’s better to doing job better than the studying.

Modern situation of computer

Computers are a “must” in today’s fast developing world. With the advancement of technology the computer came in to vogue creating a revolution in human life. Today there’s almost nothing that is done without computerizing. It has made life easier in every field such as education, medical, business, and even photography.

The internet connection has brought the world together. We have become a global village as a result of this magnificent equipment. The computer can provide you with any information from around the world within seconds. There is no need to turn a hundred books in a library or go through old newspapers. The computer corrects all your errors. Hence you don’t need to keep anything in your memory including calculations. Subtractions or multiplications. You don’t have to learn more your spelling too. This robot can do everything for you. Life is so easy? Do you thing that you could become a perfect personality by enjoying all those benefits? No what your intelligence and creativity? If you don’t use them. You too will become robot. A very artificial person with no common sense. You will be a mechanized human with no attitudes or general knowledge. Hence the computer can erode your memory power, make you lazy and inefficient since you always depend on this electronic robot to do everything for you.as in all other thing n life there are disadvantage in using computer too. If there’s a sudden power failure all your work is held up. Hence you should not depend too much on this sophisticated equipment.

With the unlimited information the computer provides children can be affected. They will start concentrating on unwanted issue which may be suitable for their age. They tend to neglect their other activities and become addicted to the use of computers. A human needs both physical and mental exercise for a perfect development. So my opinion if use computer use correct way we can easy to do our work day today life.

Conservation Opinion about Galle Fort

Galle fort conversation is always difficult for their living people because they can’t repair their building without government permission but if we talk about the shops, hotels, businessmen they can change easily because they can earn money from tourist but if we talk about small family they live spend money to day today life. However they want to lives hometown and protect their traditional house although sometime it’s difficult thing because if their repairing roof, wall, Colum they have to pay lot of money for government officers. On that situation people decided to sell their old houses and go to another place and live better than the previous. And also lot tourist and rich people buy this houses for their business. Some time there some conservation area destroy without proper conservation you can see middle street wall so it is created Dutch architecture but nearly two or three month we can see only trees on that wall. If we talk about the “Sudarmaramaya” temple area we can’t identify we stay in Galle Fort because in that area always changing we can’t see

any Dutch architecture building in that place.so at that place we can think they can change their own. In Galle Fort there is a shop call “fort biss gale” Mr. Robert bought who is Britannia this shop long time earlier it was a Dutch house but he changed this for his shop and office. So my opinion its change Galle Fort architectural character and planning section. And he told us his brother and sister bought other shops between his shop so in that situation what happen our srilankan culture they show their landowner. If we consider shops and hotels sometime they can change their way there is a “Heritage Café” They told after Tsunami they change their shop and now we can see their changes they changed wall color and now they drew Araliya Leave all over the wall it is not ancient paint it is a modern design so if we think another family do like these they will arrest the police. And also there is a Dutch well middle in the shop now they change it with colors and they use like chair. As well as it we walk along the Galle Fort street change with time to time now we can see small stone but after one or two month we will see another stone or design around street. So Galle rampart also change time to time now it has become a fashion. The most important thing is in December session period people can earn money better than the other month because lot of tourist people come to srilanka now there is a big problem lot of people come to tourist shops because they  have lot of contact with other on the other hand its big problem to srilankan businessman. In my opinion as a government they want make good regulation better than the now. If we talk about school in Galle Fort earlier Southland teacher told me there were beautiful Dutch lamp in school but school children unable protect that lamp and then they changed the lamp style so this is the modern situation in the Galle Fort. Some school also affect to tourist. Now you can see lamp changes .If you carefully see architectural features you can identify the changes in Galle Fort so if there good regulation for people there will good condition in this place

Modern situation in All Saints Church in Galle Fort

If we talk about Galle Fort there are lot of ancient building within the Galle Fort. Lot of building made by Dutch architecture characteristics. This building made by suitable for our climate.so I had to choose most favorite spot within Galle Fort outside our team work. So I Selected All Saints Church Because this building look like “God Palace” and also this building is very important better than the other building because this building made by British architectural character .If talk about the other building we can see Dutch architecture characteristics. On the other hand this building now is very important to us because these days this church conservation. This conservation is very important to us because we can identify is it conservation or repairing. So if we mention about this Church built on Friday 30^th October 1868.This church to called “All Saints was laid by Piers calvery claghton second Bishop of Colombo. And also this historical event took place at half past four in the evening. The design of the proposed church was by Mr. R.C carpenter who designed cathedral and modified by the Mr.Broor Bailey. If talk about this church architect J.G Smither of the department of public works became the  architect. Architecture of the all the Saints church is the finest specimen of an English 8^th century

characteristic in the Ceylon. All saints’ church was consecrated on February 21^st 1871. Clergy who assisted Bishop Claughton at the ceremony were the Revd. Dr G.J. Schrader, Revd. Bevan, Rev Allen and Rev Marks the Bishop preached on the text revelation xxi 22 it has been recorded the register that 480 civil and 45 military personal were present at the service and these days collection amounted to 105 pounds 10 shilling 4 pence. Father told us there church was not suitable for their Religious things in this year because it not conservation long time.so there lot of walls and roofs damaged beginning the year but they unable to repair their own because of government regulation. Father Maxi told at that time he told to Archeology office but they told they want lot of time to allocate money from the government for this conversation. But father told he couldn’t wait for the allocate money for the conversation and he told this situation England Assembly. So then England Assembly donated fund for success conversation and then 09^th September started to conversation and this process call “Renovation and Refurbishment” This process will be guidance by archeology Department and this conservation doing structure change as it is.This conservation has estimated RS 165000 and finish all the conservation within the 06 month. This conservation main consultant is Art decon Mr Nndana Jinadasa and they gave this construction part for AIE construction in Galle Beligaha. Mr Ishan is the project manager and he told daily meson and carpenters nearly 15 person work this Church. And also their target is finished this conversation before chrismas.However all Saints church is spread goddess bless all around the Galle fort.

Why the “Ahikuntaka” people (gypsies) children don’t go to school .

             The “Ahikuntaka” people (gypsies) is an ancient group. They mostly speak Telingu in Andras Pradesh. Also known as Sinhala .They have done for centuries by reading palms, snake charming and tanning monkey to perform tricks. And also “Ahikuntaka” peoples call Tamil and Muslim people “Kuravar”.They make living by fortune telling ,snake charming and using monkey and dogs in performances. Their houses like small area and it is not permanents one One of group nearly live 30 or 40 family. “Ahikuntaka” people they don’t live in a particular area and they migrate everywhere in Srilanka.so it has a big problem to decrease “Ahikuntaka” children education.

In this discussion I wish to elaborate the question (Why the “Ahikuntaka” people (gypsies) children don’t go to school.According to statics in srilanka people literacy of reading and writing is above 95.6%. But the “Ahikuntaka”people and other people belong to the other 10% Petron. Cause for the discussed issue is that children from “Ahikuntaka” family don’t attended schools. Unfortunately the population of “Ahikuntka” people indicates decrease and it is warring to hear that they don’t get proper education.

             The intention is to document their unique but rapidly disappearing children education which is still largely unrecorded and largely unrecorded and was passed on through generations of “Ahikuntikaya” by word of mouth. This will undertake a survey of the community, to comprehensively record their children education.

              As the decreasement of “Ahikuntaka” population is high it has become a problem to direct their children to education. Among “Ahikuntaka” who live in srilanka .

 Most of the female children are above age13 and they reading palm. that it is their culture and carrier. Now female translate their traditional reading palm to servant.though srilankan population male less compare to female population it is opposite “Ahikuntaka” people in this settlement. Now the significant fact that identity in “Ahikuntaka” people is that they abundant their traditional curries and have directed to labor.Most of their family members is 2-6 and some male and female married in their children age.because they don’t understand in our society.Most of family members were 5. they mostly do lookafter their small brothers and sisters. children do collect garbage in their job and also children do perfirm tricks (monkey and snake)

 “Akuntaka” people stay get dirty gratually because they don’t have regular sanitation and particular garbage disposal method.all above factors are formed because of the uneducation of “Akuntaka” people.

             If government has decided to a programmed to issue national identity card for “Ahikuntaka” people but according to my point of view I think the discussed educational issue should get property to get solution. For the example government can make public service to educate “Ahikuntaka” people about how important is literacy and schooling for their children as this children need to face their day today life. I questioned the responsible authorities why don’t “Ahikuntaka” people have educational even Veddas people do.

 There are 100% children do not school in “Akuntaka”  people because of their family very poor and they unable to find money As a result of this  the literacy of reading and writing this people may face problem in day today life.  Such as banking activities, getting public services and even travel by buses sometimes they get bully because of above issue and because of issue. And because of that they get to do crimes like illegal drugs, smuggling and robbing. Though to male population female population is less recently females are involves in crimes given above and that is all because of education. And also they addicted drugs and bad habitat in our society so it is harmful to our society.

why they do not go to school so most reason was to find money.so government give their any donation we can develop our literacy and writing. If this children get into track to schooling the literacy of srilanka can be 100% my target of this research is to make you aware of what are the issues of “Ahikuntaka”children regarding education

  People can get good thing from plastic bags. One of thing is the polythene bags are very helpful to carry fruits and vegetables easily. There are different sizes in plastic bags. We can use the polythene bags according to the foods quantity. Polythene bag are very cheap to buy for customers and it is low cost for manufactures. Polythene bags are easy to carry different things. We can recycle plastic bags also. Because of those matters people like to use polythene bags.

Coins has two side as well as everything has two sides, like advantage and disadvantage. This plastic contains hydrogen synod and when polythene bags are burnt that contains will remove the whole environment and that hydrogen synod will pollute the environment and it’s not good for human body also. After mix these polythene bags with soil it damage contain sail also. Sometime elephant’s dogs and other animals eat these plastic bags and they will die or ill soon so at that situation unbalance the environment. As well as we can’t use polythene bags in maydays because it’s not strong and we can’t carry heavy things also.
